An international flight of Biman Bangladesh Airlines carrying 100 passengers has made an emergency landing at the Chattogram Airport on Monday evening due to a technical glitch.
The Dhaka-bound flight of the national flag carrier coming from Singapore made an emergency landing at 5:44pm, said Shah Amanat International Airport’s Manager Kazi Khairul Kabir.
“One of the engines of the plane stopped. However, the pilot made the emergency landing safely. There has been no damage or casualties,” he said.
The four members of the family, sustained critical burn injuries in an explosion-possibly caused from a leaky gas pipeline-in Fatullah on Saturday.
