Entertainment Report :Lux superstar, popular model and TV actress of present time Bidya Sinha Saha Mim has performed in role of Rabindranath Tagore’s Chirangada this time. In her acting career, Mim acted in many TV plays and telefilms till now. But when she act in role of a play which story is based on Tagore’s novel or short story Mim takes it as challenge.While taking part in shooting of Ruman Runi directed a TV play titled Ami Chitrangada Mim faced such type of challenge. From the adaptation of Rabindranath Tagore’s short story Chitrangada, popular playwright of present time Matia Banu Shuku has written script of the play Ami Chitrangada.While talking about the play director Ruman Runi told this correspondent, “Basically I have tried to portray present time’s Chitrangada from the ‘shadow role’ of Tagore’s Chitrangada in this play. I think viewers will enjoy the play and Mim’s acting also.”It may be mentioned that Mim is now staying outside the country along with her family members. While contacting with her over mobile phone she told this correspondent, “In fact, I am not taking part in shooting of any TV play now. But modern presentation of the play Ami Chitrangada has attracted me. For this reason, I agreed to act in the play. I have tried my level best to present my role in the play. I hope viewers will positively enjoy the play.”The play Ami Chitrangada will go on air in any satellite channel in Eid-ul-Fitr, said its director Runi. Besides Mim, Shabnam Parvin, Mahmudul Islam Mithu, Sajal, Farzana Laboni, among others, acted in other roles in the play.Director Runi last made two plays – Boundule Mon and Tobuo Tomar. However, after traveling with family members Mim will return to Bangladesh on April 29, Mim said.Recently Mim acted Khalid Mahmood Mithu directed movie Jonakir Alo released. But the movie didn’t hit in the market. Mim is highly expected about her latest movie Mostafa Kamal Raz directed Tarkanta. Popular heroine Moushumi and hero Arefin Shuvo were co-actors of Mim in the movie. It may be mentioned that after becoming champion of Lux-Channel i Superstar in 2007 Mim started her film career by late Humayun Ahmed directed movie Aamar Achhe Jol. But Mim got appreciation from the viewers to act in Zakir Hossain Razu directed movie Aamar Pran-er Priya against Shakib Khan.
