BIDA chief for creating entrepreneurs to expedite growth

Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (BIDA) Executive Chairman Kazi M Aminul Islam recently underscored the need for creating skilled and trained entrepreneurs to enhance investment and employment opportunities for achieving double digit GDP growth.
“The size of country’s current GDP is US$250 billion and per capita income is near $1600. In 2041, the per capita income is likely to stand at $15,000 and GDP size will be $3 trillion,” he said while addressing a meeting to finalize the trainer for entrepreneurs development training at BIDA’s board room in the city.
