Border Guard Bangladesh men early Sunday recovered a total of 64 bales of Indian sarees, three-pieces and swals in a raid at Natunhat under Jhikargachha upazila in Jessore.
Lt Col Jahangir Hossain, commanding officer, 26 Border Guard Battalion told New Nation that acting of a tip off the BGB men recovered the goods worth Tk 3 crore 12 lakh and 50 thousand and apprehended the driver of the truck. ‘The goods were taken towards Jessore from India’, he added.
