Bangladesh Foreign Trade Institute (BFTI) would open master’s course on international trade. Commerce Minister and Chairman of BFTI Tofail Ahmed took the decision at its Annual General Meeting on Sunday, said a press release. BFTI Chief Executive Officer Ali Ahmed presented its ongoing activities at the meeting.
In last year, BFTI organised and conducted eight trainings on international trade, nine seminars and view-exchange meetings and two research activities.
Senior Commerce Secretary Shubhashish Bose, Finance Secretary Abdur Rouf Talukdar, Industries Secretary M Abdul Halim, ICCB President Mahbubur Rahman, Tariff Commission Chairman Zahir Uddin Ahmed, EPB Vice Chairman Bijoy Bhattachariya, FBCCI President Shafiul Islam Mahiuddin, BGMEA President Siddikur Rahman and MCCI President Nihad Kabir were present, among others.
