Ben Affleck and DC Comics’ Geoff Johns are teaming up to co-write a standalone Batman film, which the actor will reportedly direct and star in. The duo “are well in synch and have more than found their rhythm,” Deadline reported. Affleck and Johns are likely to turn in a script before the end of the summer. The Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice actor will helm his scripted adaptation of Dennis Lehane’s book Live by Night in November.
