Some 50 activists of Bangladesh Chhatra League’s (BCL) Chittagong Government College unit kept the college road blocked for nearly half an hour at Chawkbazar in Chittagong city on Thursday afternoon, following a clash between two factions of BCL at the college.
The activists, who are loyal to BCL’s city unit general secretary Nurul Azim Rony, alleged that the police were not taking action against those who, led by city Jubo League leader Tinu, attacked them over a scuffle. Currently, the pro-Awami League (AL) student organisation does not have any committee at the college.
