BCB announces squad for fifth ODI against Zimbabwe

The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) announced on Saturday the squad for the fifth ODI against Zimbabwe. The fifth and last ODI will be held tomorrow at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium. The match starts at 12.30 pm.
Ahead of the last match, Bangladesh will appear in the practice session on Sunday at 3:00pm while Zimbabwe practice at 11:00am at the same venue.
Bangladesh led the five-match ODI series 4-0.
After the 4-0 lead, Bangladesh is now 17 rating points ahead of Zimbabwe in the ODI rankings and if they can whitewash the touring side the difference will jump up to 22 points.
Soumya Sarker has been included in the squad. Soumya Sarker is playing for Prime Bank in the Dhaka Metropolis Premier Division Cricket League. In this year, he scored 146 runs playing six matches. His highest score is 55.
On their way to 4-0 lead, Tigers beat Zimbabwe by 21 runs in the fourth match on November 28 and by a massive 124 runs in the third match on November 26 at SBNCS, Mirpur while by 68 runs in the second match on November 23 and won the first match by 87 runs — the first ODI victory for home side in 2014 — at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chittagong on November 21.
The players, who have been chosen, are: Masrafe Bin Moratza (Captain), Shakib Al Hasan (Vice Captain), Tamim Iqbal, Anamul Haque, Mominul Hoque, Mushfiqur Rahim, Mahmudullah Riyad, Sabbir Rahman, Imrul Kayes, Rubel Hossain, Jubair Hossain, Abul Hasan, Taijul Islam, Soumya Sarker.
