Bangladesh Agricultural University (BAU) unit of Bangladesh Chhtra League (BCL) on Thursday demanded activation and immediate election of BAU Central Students’ Union.
BAU unit BCL also sought their 21-points demands for proper educational and research environment in the campus.
They expressed their demands to the journalists at a press conference on Thursday at around 1:00pm in TSC mini conference room.
Secretary of BAU unit BCL Mia Md Rubel read out the written statement in the press conference with Sobuj Kazi, president of the organization, in chair.
Their important demands include improvement of food served in dormitory dinning and canteens, drug abuse free campus, establishment of Mural of Bangabandhu at Bangabandhu smriti chattar, development of updated curriculum, modification and digitalization of class rooms, building new dormitories for increased number of students, cancellation of 7% quota in teacher recruitment, digital identity card for students, improvement of university health care center, reopening of the university railway station and others.
