Jatiya Ganotantrik League and Manik Miah Parishad on Thursday formed a human chain in front of the Jatiya Press Club demanding unconditional release of former caretaker government adviser Barrister Mainul Hosein.
Branding Barrister Mainul Hosein as a member of the Civil Society, the leaders of the organisations said, he played an important role during the crisis moment of the country.
“He is a man of strong personality and always vibrant against any irregularities in the country,” they said.
The leaders of the organisations said, Barrister Mainul Hosein is not the enemy of the country. So, he has the right to get bail in such kind of cases, they said.
Meanwhile, the organisations blamed that the police dispersed their human chain.
