Staff Reporter :On the occasion of Independence Day Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy (BSA) arranges a three-day programme from March 24 to 26 in Dhaka and an art camp at Chuknagar of Dumuria in Khulna where one of the largest massacres took place during the war of liberation in 1971. Dramas based on liberation war, discussion and cultural programmes will take place in these three days event.This was announced at a press conference held at the Conference Room of the National Theatre Hall, BSA yesterday. Director General of BSA Liaquat Ali Lucky announced the programme scheduled in the conference.Secretary of BSA Jahangir Hossain Chowdhury, Director of Training Department of BSA Shawkat Faruk, among others, were present at the conference.  Lucky also informed that on Thursday a week-long Sultan Mela was wrapped up in Narail. Noted artist Abdul Mannan got Sultan Gold Medal 2015 on the concluding day of the festival, he said.A liberation war based play titled Rajarbag 71 was staged at Music and Dance Centre Auditorium of BSA yesterday which is also part of the three days event. Mannan Hira gave its direction.
