Bangladesh Football team made a 1-1 draw with Afghanistan Football team in their Group-E match of the FIFA World Cup qualifiers at Jassim Bin Hamad Stadium in Doha, the capital city of Qatar on Thursday.
After a barren first half, Ameer Sharifi of Afghanistan put his team
ahead using a pass of his teammate Ahmed Nazem in the 48th minute of the play.
Defender Topu Barman of Bangladesh equalized the margin by an accurate shot capitalizing a header of his teammate Riyadul Hasan in the 84th minute of the match.
It was an almost fifty affair and Bangladesh snatched one point from their stronger opponents as they deserved it.
