Like previous years, this year also Bangladesh Air Force has chalked out an elaborate tree plantation programme in line with the “National Tree Plantation Programme-2015”.
Chief of Air Staff Air Marshal Abu Esrar inaugurated the “BAF Tree Plantation Programme-2015” by planting a sapling on Air Headquarters premises yesterday.
Major General (retd) Tarique Ahmed Siddique, Security Adviser to the Prime Minister, visited Air Headquarters and planted a sapling on Air Headquarters premises. Principal Staff Officers also participated in the programme by planting different saplings. Among others, Directors and senior BAF officers of Air Headquarters were present during the inauguration programme. All BAF Bases and Units are also observing the similar programme. This year’s programme included planting of herbal, fruit-bearing, and other varieties of saplings.
