Azmeri Asha was one of the Veet stars in 2012. She became the first runner-up in the reality show. Among her contemporary participants, who were earlier engaged in modeling or acting, they later did not continue to work in media. Only Azmeri Asha is still working in media by virtue of her talent and dedication to work. At the end of last year, she acted in a drama where Mukit Zakaria was her co-actor. In the beginning of this year, on Thursday she started acting in a drama titled Pagol Homu Kyamte, directed by Bornonath. She is playing the role of Emi in the drama. Under same director’s direction, she will take part in shooting of two dramas in three days. Title of Asha’s another drama is Chhoto Bhaiyer Bou where she will act in role of Pakhi. Rubel Swadhin Borno wrote stories of these two dramas.
While talking about taking Azmeri Asha in his two dramas director Bornonath said, “I had many days’ plan to cast Asha in my directed drama. But I couldn’t take her because regarding story and role I did not find any scope. She is appropriate for these two dramas those I have been making now. For this reason, I took her in my dramas. I believe Asha will portray her roles properly in these two dramas, which will be telecasted in two separate TV channels soon.”
Azmeri Asha shared her feelings by this way, “It is my first acted drama under Bornonath Dada’s direction. I have liked stories and roles of these two dramas. From the very beginning, I have been selective while working. As a part of its continuation, I have been working in these two dramas. Mukit Zakaria Bhai and Marzuk Russell Bhai are my co-actors in these dramas. Both of them are very much co-operative.”
Asha also informed that from January 18 she will also take part in shooting of another drama against Mukit Zakaria. After becoming Veet star, Asha first acted against Tahsan in drama Tritiyo Matra, directed by Masudul Hasan. Asha also performed as model in Tahsan’s song Oprapti. In last Eid-ul-Azha, she got appreciation to act in Rakesh Basu’s drama Chhaya Kaya.
