Asia Cup Hockey will be held in November. Bangladesh Hockey Federation (BHF) will arrange the Asia Cup Hockey, the most prestigious hockey tournament of Asia.
The World Hockey League round 2 was the dress rehearsal of the upcoming Asia Cup Hockey.
Joint-Secretary of Bangladesh Hockey Federation Anvir Adil Khan Babu said, ” We have got verbal assurance from FIH. Hoping that we can sign an agreement with FIH next month. Hosts Bangladesh, India, Pakistan, South Africa, Malaysia, China, Oman, Sri Lanka will take part in Asia Cup. If Bangladesh Hockey Federation can arrange the Asia Cup Hockey successfully, the new horizon will be unveiled for Bangladesh.”
A source said to this Reporter on Sunday, ” BHF hopes that the Government will give all sorts of cooperation to the Federation to arrange the meet smoothly. Floodlight is very important for the forthcoming tournament. The Government will set up floodlight before the tournament.”
