Ahsan Ullah University of Science and Technology (AUST) has recently arranged an ‘Architecture Day’ patronized by Akij Ceramics Ltd as the sole sponsor. Anisul Hoque, Mayor of DNCC was the Chief Guest at the seminar while Altaf Hossain, Executive Director, Abu Hasan Talukder, Dy. General Manager of Akij Ceramic were also present among others.
President of Institute of Architects of Bangladesh Architect Abu Sayed M Ahmed and Chief Architect of Ministry of Public Works Kazi Gulam Nasir and President of Dhaka Ahsania Mission Kazi Rafiqul Alam were present as special guests.
The Vice-Chancellor of AUST Dr AMM Shafiullah presided over the seminar.
Executive Director of Akij Ceramic Altaf Hossain in his speech emphasized on the quality and the effort behind continuous design improvement.
He stressed that the tagline of the brand, ‘Promise of Perfection’, is in fact a mission statement of Akij Ceramics in terms of producing world standard ceramics tiles.
In the seminar the speakers discussed about the nature of structure, beautification, art of structure, security and many others areas regarding nature and globalization.
The speakers presented findings from their experience while the participating students exchanged their views and interests.
Nine presenters participated in the morning session while two others featured in the afternoon session of the daylong seminar. Fahrenheit Marketing Communications Ltd arranged and supervised the seminar.
