Bangladesh national cricket team spinner Arafat Sunny’s father Abdur Rahim died in the city in the wee hours on Sunday.
Abdur Rahim, 60, fell sick on Saturday night and died on way to a hospital in the city.
Abdur Rahim is survived by his wife, two sons, two daughters and a host of relatives.
Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) expressed profound shock at Abdur Rahim’s death and extended deepest sympathy to Arafat Sunny and his family members.
