Annual Athletics Competition of Dhaka University (DU) Rokeya Hall was held at the university’s central playground on Sunday.
DU Vice-Chancellor (VC) Prof Akhtaruzzaman inaugurated the competition this morning, said a DU press release here.
Later, Pro- VC (academic) Prof Nasreen Ahmad distributed the prizes among the winners in the afternoon with Hall Provost Prof. Zeenat Huda in the chair.
Laboni Islam Chumki, a master’s student of DU History Department and Monira Chowdhury, a second year student of Microbiology Department became joint champions. Salma Akter, a master’s student of Islamic Studies Department of the university bagged the runner-up position.
