Screenwriter and director Taylor Sheridan has in recent years made a name for himself by blending noir with western tropes and delivering critically acclaimed thrillers Sicario, Hell or Hugh Water and Wind River. Now, Sheridan is teaming up with Angelia Jolie, a star who has her roots in action-thrillers, for his second directorial effort Those Who Wish me Dead, based on a novel of the same name by Michael Kortya.
Jolie stars as a wildland firefighter who is haunted by her failure to save three lives. Her last shot at redemption comes when she has to save a twelve-year-old boy, running away from two assassins, played by Nicholas Hoult and Aidan Gillan, through a wildfire spreading across Montana wilderness.
