Anamul, Imrul keep South Zone on course on day 3

A brilliant batting display by opener Anamul Haque and first down Imrul Kayes saw Prime Bank South Zone reached to a comfortable position as they scored 159 for 3 in 44 overs at stumps on third day of four-day Bangladesh Cricket League held on Monday at the Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Prothisthan Ground-3 in Savar.
South Zone will be needed 151 more runs to win the match and they have seven wickets in hand with one more day to go. Imrul Kayes with 74 and Mithun 7 were the two unbeaten batsmen on the crease as the stumps were drawn for the day.
Earlier, Walton Central zone resumed their second innings with overnight score of 318 for 5 and finally dismissed at 374 for all in 87.4 overs. 
Central Zone 1st innings – 165 for all in 39.4 overs, Mahmudullha 36, Nurul 32, Shahriar 30, extras 8, Gazi 4/67, Razzak 3/44 and Rubel 2/33. 
2nd innings – 374 for all in 87.4 overs, Ayub 126, Shamsur 65, Mahmudullah 41, Mehrab, extras 30, Razzak 4/103, Parvez 3/34 and Shohag 2/77.
South Zone 1st innings – 230 for all in 62.2 overs, Mithun 88, Imrul 22, Soumya 21, extras 11, Mahmudullah 7/94, Elias 2/34.
2nd innings – 159 for 3 in 44.2 overs, Anamul 67, Imrul 74 batting, Mithun 7, batting, Mahmudullah 2/64.
