AL activist’s right hand , two tendons severed in Jhenidah

Jhenidah Correspondent : Wrist and two tendons of an Awami League activist have been severed by some terrorists at Bat-tala bus stand under Kaligonj upazila in Jhenidah on Sunday evening. The victim was identified as Iqbal Hossain, 30 son of Hisabdi Biswas of Pirojpur village under Kaliganj upazila of the district. He has been sent to Jessore Medical college and hospital in a dying state. Locals and Barobazaar UP chairman Joynal Abedin said, Iqbal was waiting at Bot-tala bus stand. At the time some terrorists swooped him and severed wrist of his right hand and two tendons of both legs. Locals rescued him and sent to Jessore Medical college and hospital. UP chairman Joynal Abedin said, some rival AL cadres have severed his wrist and two tendons of his legs. The condition of Iqbal is stated to be critical. He will be referred to Dhaka at night.
