Bangladesh U-19 football team head coach Mahbub Roksy said that his boys would give their best efforts on the field against host Tajikistan to snatch a good result for the team.
Bangladesh will take on Tajikistan in one of the opening day’s fixtures of the AFC U-19 Championship-2018 qualifiers scheduled to be held today (Tuesday), said a press release of Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) last evening.
He said: “We have to be extra cautious and serious in the first match of AFC tournament. We will give our hundred percent efforts on the field against host team Tajikistan.”
The U-19 team’s captain Tutul Hossain Badsha said: “In this tournament, our main aim is to use the experience which we gained in the Bhutan SAFF U-19 meet. The team combination is so far very good which will be proved helpful in the vital matches of the tournament. We want to support and blessing from everyone.”
Team manager Amirul Islam Babu said: “Everybody in the team is in good health and energetic mood. We are looking forward to beat the host team Tajikistan in our first encounter. I think we are capable enough to beat them.”
