Now noted actress and play director Afsana Mimi is writing story for a movie. She has been kept an idea of a movie in her mind since 2006. From that idea right now she is writing a story for a movie.
Mimi believes she will successfully complete her writing but could not give guaranty when it will be finished. So she couldn’t talk about the title of the movie or its details. But she is planning to make the movie coming year. Because she has no dissatisfaction to act or making play in small screen but she has still dissatisfaction to perform in theatre or making movie. For this reason, she has keen interest to make movie.
Today is Afsana Mimi’s birthday. She will turn into 48. While sharing her feelings to celebrate the day Mimi told this correspondent, “When birthday comes I become glad because I believe it is really a delightful matter for any human being when he/she comes into world well. There must have an aim for every human being to come into this world. So everybody should find out freedom by his/her works. When my birthday comes I feel happy, I start to feel as a complete human being. I love to see dream, I survive with my dreams.”
In once birthday, mother of Mimi took her to Holy Family Hospital to see the newborn babies. After that every year on her birthday evening she visits the hospital and to pass times with new born babies there and also gives them gifts.
Afsana Mimi’s favourite place is her grandfather’s house at Syed Moholla village of Fakirhat upazila, Bagerhat. Her mother and favourite teacher Jaharlal Basu’s graveyards are there. She still misses memories of her old days. Now Mimi directed last serial Shatti Tarar Timir is being aired on ATN Bangla.
It is noted that Mimi acted first movie was Azizur Rahman’s Dil. Later she acted in Tanvir Mokammel’s Chitra Nodir Parey and Morshedul Islam’s Priyotomeshu.
