Sheikh Arif Bulbon :Due to budget noted actor and play director Abul Hayat has reduced to make TV plays at present. In last Eid, his directed two plays titled Epar-ey Akash and Nayika were appreciated to the viewers. On the occasion of coming Victory Day, Abul Hayat has made a special play titled Sakkhatkar. Rashid Haider has written story of the play. Shooting of the play was taken place at a shooting house in Pulartek, adjacent to Dhaka, on November 10 and 11. Basically story of the play revolves with present life of a war child and a journalist. Popular actress Suborna Mustafa acted in role of the war child, while Tawquir Ahmed acted in role of a journalist in the play.While talking about the play Abul Hayat told this correspondent, “There is nothing to say about the acting quality of Suborna Mustafa. While writing script of any play I always try to portray the faces of the performers simultaneously. When I started to think about the role of the war child the name of Suborna came into my mind and I also decided to cast Tawquir against her because I believe that there is nobody except Tawquir who can counter Suborna at present.”Earlier Suborna and Tawquir worked together in several faction plays. Fossil, Aronnyer Sukh Duksho, Manush Othoba Cue Phol-er Nesha are mentionable. Suborna Mustafa shared her feelings by this way, “Earlier I had worked in several plays which stories were based on liberation war. Presentation of the story of Sakkhatkar is nice. I think viewers will enjoy the play.”Tawquir Ahmed said, “It is no doubt that the viewers will enjoy the play Sakkhatkar. Viewers will also enjoy the play from its beginning to end.” Abul Hayat mentioned that the play Sakkhatkar will be telecast on ATN Bangla on December 16. Few years ago, under the direction of Abul Hayat Suborna Mustafa acted in a play titled Jononi. On the other hand, under same director’s direction Tawquir first worked in a play titled Harjit in 1996. Bipasha Hayat acted against him in the play.
