Dhaka Abahani Limited and Dhaka Mariner Youngs Club registered wins in their respective Super League matches of the Green Delta Insurance Premier Division Hockey League on Saturday.
In the day’s first match, Dhaka Abahani Limited thrashed Ajax Sporting Club by 7-2 goals at the Maulana Bhashani National Hockey Stadium.
Tajuddin Ahmed, Roman Sarkar and Ashraful Islam of Dhaka Abahani Limited scored two goals each and their teammate Mohammad Mohsin netted one goal.
Harmandip Singh, Rahat Sarwar pulled off one each for the losers.
In the day’s second match, Dhaka Mariner Youngs Club defeated Sonali Bank Limited by 6-1 goals at the same venue.
Hasan Jubaer Niloy of Dhaka Mariner Youngs Club hit a hat-trick and his teammates Mohammad Julahairi, Farhad Ahmed Dhitul, Ashraf Sayeed successfully struck one time each on the board.
Din Islam Imon returned one for the losers.
