9th Infantry Division Team of Bangladesh Army emerged champions of the Bangladesh Army Firing Competition held at the Firing Range of Savar Cantonment on Wednesday.
33rd Infantry Division Team became the runners-up in the competition.
Lance Corporal Latif of Savar Area team was adjudged the best firer while Senior Warrant Officer Abbas Uddin of Jessore Area team became the 2nd best firer on the meet.
Area Commander of Savar and GOC 9th Infantry Division Maj Gen Chowdhury Hasan Sarwardy was the chief guest at the day’s closing ceremony and distributed prizes among the winners.
