Seven journalists left Chittagong yesterday morning to join the conference of Apollo Gleneagles Hospital in Kolkata .
These journos will joint the medical conference there at a 5-star hotel where about 400 consultant physicians of India are expected to join the conference.
Noted freedom fighter and advisor of the Kolkata Apollo Hospital Amalendu Sarkar leading the journalists team to Kolkata, Sayed Rifat Faruque of Apollo Information centre in Chittagong told this correspondent.
The members of the journalists team are- President of Press club Kalim sarwar, Rafiqul Bahar of Daily Suprabhat, Hasan Akbar of Dainik Azadi, Tapan Chakraborthy of Banglanews24.com, Kamal Dey of Samay TV, Tushar of KalerKantha and cameraman Shakawat Hossain of Samay TV, source said.
These journos left Chitagong Shah Amanat Airport by air for Kolkata yesterday morning, sources said.
After completion of the conference, the participating journos will back home on August 31 next, sources added.
