A three-day long 6th ‘Divisional Digital Innovation Fair-2016’ begins today in the city’s Outer Stadium area.
The fair aims at developing digital technology in the country and reducing the gap between the government and people.
Cabinet Secretary Mohammad Shafiul Alam will inaugurate the fair as the chief guest while Kabir Been Anwar, director administration of PMO will speak as special guest.
To make the fair a success, all preparations have been completed, said the divisional commissioner office sources.
At least 85 information stalls have already been set up in the Outer Stadium area. Besides, three seminars on information technology will be held at the fair, the sources added.
Talking to the journalists, Divisional Commissioner Ruhul Amin said the main purpose of the fair is to display various innovations of the government and private organizations before the people and developing digital technology in the country.
