Some 6 accused were held including the main accused in the murder case of Palgaon village of Atpara police station of Netrokona district by the members of RAB-14, CPC-3, Bhairab campincluding from Dharkhar of Akhaura upazila of Brahmanbaria.
The arrested accused are : main accused 1. Joynal Mia (40), 2. Masood Mia (38), 3. Mahbub (36) father-deceased Kamal Uddin Munshi, 4. Johnny Mia (23), Father – Nazim Uddin, 5. Ershad Mia (42), 6. Alam Mia (32), both fathers- Deceased Hafiz Uddin, Sarba Sang-Palgaon, Thana-Atpara, District-Netrokona. According to the sources, they were arrested from Dharkha area of Akhaura police station of the district at approximately 3.20 pm on Monday based on secret information.
It is to be noted that on July 21, a police officer was killed due to a previous dispute in Palgaon village of Atpara police station of Netrokona district.
