UNB, Mymensingh :Six more teachers, including the proctor of Bangladesh Agriculture University (BAU), resigned from their administrative posts demanding the removal of its Vice Chancellor for his alleged irregularities and corruption in recent job recruitment and immoral acts.Earlier on Tuesday, 53 teachers of the university also resigned from their administrative posts to press home their one-point demand. With the latest ones, a total of 59 teachers resigned on the same demand.A delegation of teachers under the banner ofIt informed that a convening committee, led by chairman of National River Protection Commission, has been formed to prepare a proposal to conduct survey on the original channel of the Buriganga River.The committee has been asked to submit its report to the taskforce within next 30 working days.Law Minister Anisul Huq, Liberation War Affairs Minister AKM Mozammel Huq, Syed Abu Hossain MP, and Shipping Secretary Shafique Alam Mehdi were, among others, present at the meeting.
