At least six people were killed and 10 others injured in two separate road accidents in Habiganj and Gazipur districts on Thursday.
The injured were admitted to different hospitals and clinics near the accident spots.
The police recovered the bodies and sent to Shaheed Tajuddin Ahmad Medical College Hospital and Sylhet Osmani Medical College Hospital for autopsy.
A microbus crashed into a truck parked beside the road at Sadar Upazila in Gazipur on Thursday, killing at least three people, including the driver.
The accident occurred at around 11am on the Dhaka-Mymensingh Highway near Hotapara, said Abdul Malek, Sub-Inspector of Gazipur Highway Police.
The deceased were identified as Rubel Hossain, driver of the microbus, and its passengers Asaduzzaman and Faridul Haque. They are all employees of ACI group.
In Habiganj, three people were killed and 10 others injured when a Habiganj-bound bus from Sylhet fell into a roadside ditch on Dhaka-Sylhet highway in Nabiganj upazila at around 10:30am, Bimal Chandra Bhoumik, Officer-in-Charge of Nabiganj Highway Police Camp said.
