Police arrested five more people along with the dangerous drug LSD after operating raid in various places in the capital Dhaka.
The Motijheel Division of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police told the media on Sunday afternoon.
Police seized LSD (Lysergic Acid Diethylamide) last Wednesday while investigating the death of Dhaka University student Hafizur Rahman.
On the same day, police arrested three students of a private university on charges of being involved in the sale of LSD. Later they were put on remand on Sunday.
LSD is taken under the tongue or by injection to create a kind of illusion. After taking it, the reality of the surroundings is felt differently.
