At least 491 coronavirus-infected patients died in corona units of Dhaka Medical College & Hospital (DMCH) in last 39 days from May 2 till June 9.
Meanwhile, at least 21 corona patients including a physician and some suspects died in the Covid-19 unit of Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) in last 24 hours.
Deceased who died of coronavirus in last 24 hours at DMCH’s corona units are Dr M A Jalil, 84, Akram Hossain, 45, Toiyab Ahmed, 75, Elias, 31, Shahjahan Ali, 50, Kawsar Banu, 60, Faysal, 32, Nur Nahar, 92, Manjura Begum, 64, Masud Khan, 59, Sudanshu Kumar Saha, 40, Hazi Mohammad Firoj, 58, Sajeda Begum,60, ABM Mostafa Kamal,60, Amir Hossain,75, Rafique,76, Delowar Hossain,67, Ferdoushi,34, Salauddin,46, Awlad Hossain,63 and Abul Hasem,47. Mohammad Riaz, Ward Master of the coronavirus unit, said a total of 21 people died in last 24 hours and 491 patients in last 39 days in the corona unit since it began admitting those having coronavirus symptoms.
Out of them, four with were Covid-19 positive, and others test process is on, Riaz added.
