A mobile court has sealed 4 clinics and diagnostic center in a raid that are illegally established in Tangail. Ranuara Khatun, Sadar Upazila Executive Officer and Executive Magistrate conducted the operation on Tuesday.
At that time 4 diagnostic centers were sealed due to lack of valid documents and proper authorization from department of health. The institutions are Ashia Diagnostic Center, One Lab Clinic and Hospital, Makkah Madina Digital Clinic & Hospital and Sabalia Digital Clinic & Diagnostic Center.
Before this, on May 28, such operation was conducted in various areas of Tangail Municipal. At that time, the mobile court sealed 3 illegal clinics and fined 80 thousand taka for failing to show valid documents. On the raid, due to lack of approval, Swadesh Clinic & Diagnostic Center, Padma Clinic & Hospital, Amanat Clinic & Hospital were sealed and the City Clinic were penalized with Tk 20,000, Comfort Hospital with Tk 30,000 and DG Lab Center with Tk 30,000. At that time the court gave those clinics 15 days to prepare and renewed all necessary documents.
Dr. Shariful Islam, Sadar Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer said that the raids were conducted at various clinics, diagnostic and hospitals in the city through mobile courts. At that time, 4 clinics were sealed due to lack of valid documents and authorization.
