35 Bangladeshis return from India, 5 sent to institutional quarantine in Benapole

Staff Reporter: 35 Bangladeshis returned from India through Benapole border under special arrangement on Saturday morning.
 Five of them were sent to institutional quarantine, said Dr Zahidul Islam, a health official of Benapole Immigration Office. 
The Bangladeshi nationals got stranded in different areas in the neighboring country including West Bengal due to the country’s 21-day shutdown to contain the spread of coronavirus.
Those five returnees who sent to quarantine ward at Jashore General Hospital,  
The rest were sent to home quarantine for 14 days,t he official said.
They have been marked with stamps bearing the date till which they will have to stay under home quarantine, said Ahsan Habib, officer-in-charge of Benapole immigration.
India began the 21-day nationwide lockdown from March 25 to stop of coronavirus spreading.
