Dhaka, Nov 23 (UNB) – Three siblings were injured in an attack by burglars in North Shahjahanpur area of the city early Monday. The injured were identified as Moli, 25, and her two sisters Nahid, 28, and Roji, 26, daughters of late Jahed Ali. They were residents of a rented flat on the first floor of house no. 95 in the city’s North Shahjahanpur area. Inspector (investigation) of Shahjahanpur Police Station Abdul Mabud said a gang of burglars numbering 4-5 entered the house cutting the window grills. When one of the three siblings noticed their intrusion and tried to resist them, they attacked her. Hearing her screams, her two sisters also tried to resist the burglars but ended up in getting beaten up by them. Later, the intruders hurriedly left the scene. Injured, the three sisters were admitted to Dhaka Medical College Hospital at about 5:00 am.
