A 3-months long training course on Multimedia Journalism begins in the port city from Friday last. Institute of Creative Media & Management and Online News Portal CtgNews.com jointly organized the training program.
Associate Professsor of CU Communication & Journalism Deptt Abul Kalam Azad inaugurated the training course as Chief Guest. Prof. Abul Kamal Azad said the age of the old pattern journalism is ended now which at present changes a lot .
He said every cornor of people knows any incident soon after occurring through the modern technology and hence people are on the way of multimedia journalist to meet their demands. He disclosed it while addressing the orientation program of the training course at Ctg News.com office at Cheragi pahar in city on Friday .
Among others, Asstt. Professor of the same department of CU and noted columnist Madab Dwip, Executive editor of Ctg News.com Humayun Kabir Helali, Click Editor Jalaluddin Sagar, Asstt. Producer of CTV Ahsan Mahmud were present in orientation programmes.
CtgNews.com is the sister concern of International News Media Ltd. About 30 trainees joined in orgientation program. Sources said the classes of the course will start from December 30 next only on Friday evening. Any one is interested to join the course, may contact the news portal office before start of class, sources said.
