Three people were injured when a truck carrying 136 sacks of onion hit the fencing on the viaduct road of Padma Bridge on Monday afternoon.
The accident happened when the truck driver lost control over the wheels following brake failure near Mawa toll plaza around 5:30pm, reports our Munshiganj correspondent.
The truck was coming from Shariatpur’s Jazira and heading towards Dhaka’s Shyampur through Padma Bridge.
Meanwhile, a patrol team of security forces seized another truck as it hit their vehicle while they were on the spot rescuing the injured.
