Three people were arrested on Saturday night in a case filed over the death of a 14-year-old schoolgirl in the district town. Anushka Ayat Bondhon, a ninth grader, was found dead at the dormitory of Fowzia Motin Public School yesterday. Her father Anwar Jahid Babul Mridha filed a case that night at the Sadar Police Station.
Police promptly arrested

main accused Abu Taha Sadi, the school’s director, his wife Najnin Mustary Nupur and her elder brother Shibli.
Md Abdullah, officer-in-charge of Sherpur Sadar Police Station, declined to divulge details, saying that the cause of death would be clear after the post-mortem examination.
