RAB-14 has arrested terrorists Shakib, Habibur Rahman and Sujan Mia from Kewatkhali Wapda junction in Mymensingh city with Ramda, huge quantity of yaba pills, pistol and magazine.
An expedition team of Mymensingh RAB-14 raided the spot around 4 am on Wednesday on the basis of a tip-off and picked up Md. Shakib, 20, son of late Abdul Bakir and Md. Habibur Rahman, (26) son of Md. Mozammel Haque and Md. Sujan Mia (38), son of the late Abdul Hashem.
A large quantity of yaba tablets, home-made sharp weapons, a foreign pistol, magazine and mobile set were recovered from them. During the preliminary interrogation, the detainees said that they had been selling arms and drugs and committing robbery in different parts of the country for a long time.
Senior ASP Jonaid Afrad, Media Officer of RAB-14, said that a case was being filed against the accused with Kotwali Police Station in Mymensingh district.
