A mobile court of Chittagong District Administration (CDA) fined three persons for staying at the platforms of Chittagong railway station without train tickets on Saturday .
CDA executive magistrate Abdullah Al Monsur conducted the drive at Chittagong railway station and fined them.
They were fined as per Railway (Amendment) Act 1975, the executive magistrate said adding that such drives would continue in order to check black marketing of railway tickets ahead of upcoming Eid-ul-Fitr.CDA executive magistrate Sheikh Nurul Alam, Divisional Commercial Officer of Bangladesh Railway, eastern zone, Mohammad Mijanur Rahman and Assistant Commercial Officer Shah Alam Kiron were also present during the drive.
