Renewable Energy Practitioners’ Platform Workshop along with Renewable Energy Technology Exhibition begins on Sunday at the Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel which will continue till Tuesday. The event is hosted by Infrastructure Development Company Limited (IDCOL) with support from German Development Cooperation through KfW. AEPC, Nepalis the co-organizer of the event, said a press release.
State Minister for Ministry of Power, Energy and Mineral Resources Nasrul Hamid, has inaugurated the event as the Chief Guest.
The objective of the event is to create a platform for Renewable Energy Practitioners to exchange knowledge, ideas and address challenges through interactive discussions on various aspects of renewable energy which include technology, market development, financing as well as policy and regulatory matters. Regulators, policy makers, financiers, renewable energy practitioners as well as business houses from different Asian countries will come together to explore various contemporary issues related to renewable energy and enhance collaboration during these3 days conference through different activities. About 50 international participants from 15 countries and 80 local participants are participating in the workshop.
About 35 stalls from local and international manufacturers/suppliers of various renewable energy technologies are exhibiting their products and services in the fair. The fair is open for all from 9:30 am till 8:30 pm.
