Begum Rokeya University (BRU), Rangpur concluded the basic training program of second Foundation Training for its newly inducted teachers who joined in several departments of the university on Saturday.
The program was held at the university’s liaison office in the capital on Saturday. Director of Dr Wazed Research and Training Institute and Vice Chancellor of BRU Prof Dr Major Nazmul Ahsan Kalimullah, BNCCO presided over the ending ceremony where Pro Vice-chancellor of Bangladesh University of professionals (BUP) Prof Dr M Abul Kashem Mozumdar was the chief guest and member of Dr Wazed Research and Training Institute’s Board of Governors Dr Saber Ahmed Chowdhury were present at the concluding ceremony.
BRU is the first public institution to organize such intensive training regiment for newly appointed teachers which shed light on different teaching methods. After completion of the training program, teachers were given certificates. Emrana Bari has been given best participant of the course award of second foundation training course.
Course senior of second batch Emrana Bari, Assistant Professor Md. Abdullah-Al-Mahbub, Lecturer Marjia Sultana, Md. Shamim Hossain, Sanjid Islam Khan, Farzana Zannat, Mostafa Kaiyum Sharafat, ABM Nurullah, Mehnaz Abbasi Badhan and Sirajam Munira were present among others.
