At least 22 laptops in the first phase were distributed among teachers of Dighinala Degree College with an aim to ensure digital classes and to make students expert in science and technology.
These laptops were distributed through a formal programme which was held at the Dighinala Degree College auditorium on Saturday. Principal of the college Montu Bikash Chakma chaired the programme.
The principal in his speech said the government is trying to digitise the education system of the country.
Following this, the laptops were distributed, while 15 more laptops will also be distributed. Vice-Principal Tarun Kanti Chakma asked the teachers to take classes using laptops, projectors and modern science equipment.
