Paharali thana police rounded up two drug peddlers from Pahartali signal colony on Thursday .
Police recovered 200 bottles of contraband phensidyle from their possession. Estimated cost of the drug approximately Tk.1.50 lakh , police said. The detained drug peddlers identified as Md. Abdul Matin hails from Chowddagram of Comilla and Md. Abdullah al Mamun of Naniarchar of Rangamati.
Pahartali thana officer in-charge Ranjit Kumar Barua told that these drug peddlers brought these drugs from Feni border belt aimed at selling in the port city as confessed by them.
A case under drug control act filed before the police station and detained have been sent to custody, sources said.
