A two-day workshop on mathematics concluded at AF Mujibur Rahman Mathematics Building on Dhaka University (DU) campus on Friday evening.
Bangladesh Mathematical Society (BMS) under the patronization of CASIO, Japan organized the workshop aiming at making mathematics interesting and increasing efficiency in the subject, said a DU press release on Saturday.
DU Vice-Chancellor Professor AAMS Arefin Siddique addressed the concluding ceremony of the workshop as chief guest and distributed certificates among the participants.
BMS President Professor Sajeda Banu presided over the function that was also addressed by DU Mathematics Department Chairman Professor Amal Krishna Halder, BMS Secretary Professor Md Shahidul Islam, BacBon Ltd Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Abdul Matin Sheikh, CASIO Representative Kaito Miwa and convener of the workshop Md Kutub Uddin as special guests.
