2 bodies found in city

Police recovered two bodies from city’s Mirpur and Banani areas respectively on Sunday morning.
Of the two deceased, one has been identified as Sohel, 20, a shopkeeper, while the identity of another victim could not be known immediately, police said.
Quoting the witnesses, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Pallabi Police Station Sayed Ziauzzaman said that police recovered the body of Sohel at around 6:00am from the roof of the City Corporation Market at Mirpur-10.
Police also detained a man suspecting his involvement with the incident, the OC said.
The body has been sent to Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) morgue for autopsy, he added.
In the another incident, Banani police recovered a decomposed body aged around 30 from the Banani Lake in the capital at around 10:00am.
Sub-Inspector (SI) of Banani Police Station Arifur Rahman said that the police recovered the decomposed body from Banani Lake. But police could not identify the body as a man or a woman immediately. However, the SI said that the victim was a male person according to the primary reports of the doctors. The body was found put on lady’s pant and shirt as well as fake brassieres at the time of recovery.  
The body has also been sent to the DMCH morgue for autopsy, he said.
