2 Bangladeshis drown at Australian fishing spot

Two Bangladeshi expatriates have drowned and another was rescued after a fishing accident at Port Kembla in New South Wales, Australia, in a tragic incident.
The deceased are Mahade Khan, 30, and Muzaffar Ahammed, 37, reports The Sydney Morning Herald. Their families were informed on Saturday.
Bangla Katha, a Bangla daily published from Australia, also confirmed the deaths. The newspapers did not confirm the survivor’s identity.
The trio were swept off rocks while fishing at Port Kembla on Friday night. A highway patrol officer swam out to two of the men before they were brought ashore by an inflatable rescue boat.
One of the men died at the scene, while the other was treated for hypothermia and water inhalation. The third was winched from the water by a rescue helicopter and taken to hospital in a critical condition, where he later died.
The three people, who were residents of the Lakemba and Wiley Park areas, had travelled to Port Kembla on Friday afternoon.
