19 students of Cumilla Varsity to get fellowship

A total of 19 students of Cumilla University are getting fellowship under a research collaboration project in higher education of the Ministry of Science and Technology, Professor Dr. Md. Abu Taher registrar of the university confirmed the matter on Tuesday morning, said a press release.
According to a letter signed by Deputy Secretary of the Ministry Khan Md. Reza-un-Nabi, a total of 12 students from the Physics Department, five from the Chemistry Department and one each from the Statistics and Information and Technology Department of the Cumilla University will get the fellowships.
The selected students are Tanvir Ahmed, Fauzia Fariha, Md. Bayazid Biswas, Nusrat Jahan Bailey, Md. Shakil Ahmed, Shamim Al Mamun, Md. Naeem Mia, Mosa. Rubaiyat Sultana, Amit Pal, Rabeya Basri, Md. Nasim Gani and Krishna Ghosh of the Physics Department, Sabika Hasin of the Department of Chemistry.
Md. Saiful Islam, Vijay Chandra Ghosh, Asmaul Husna, Sharmin Ara Sathy and Tasfia Islam of Information and Technology Department and Talal Tasnim of Statistics Department of the university.
These students will get financial assistance of Taka 54,000 for the fellowship.
