16 BD wrestlers to train in India for 1 year

Sixteen Bangladeshi wrestlers will be given higher training at Nababganj Ganadar Nandini Nagar Sports Complex in Uttar Pradesh, India for one year from the first day of March this year.
Indian Wrestling Federation confirmed it to Bangladesh Wresting Federation in written on Wednesday (Feb 8).
The wrestlers — Ganneshar Dewan Chakma, Ujjal Miah, Mesbah-ul-Mukarram, Shahinul Islam, Abdur Rashid, Al Rajib, Nurul Islam, SM Mukarram Hossain, Sirajul Islam, Anku Chakma (BGB), Anwar Hossain, Ali Amjad (Ansar), Chandra Lal, Mahfuz Hossain (Army), Quamruzzaman (Police) — will leave the capital for India on February 27.
Indian authority will provide food, lodging, local transport and medical facilities for the Bangladeshi wrestlers during the one-year training programme.
However, Bangladesh will have to bear the air or road transport expenses of the wrestlers to reach Uttar Pradesh.
Besides, Indian Wrestling Federation is likely to train Bangladeshi women’s wrestlers for four months ahead of the next South Asian Games.
